D., is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies, Department of Internal Medicine, at the ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of Utah and the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Salt Lake City, UT. As a Hematologist, his clinical interests include paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), hemochromatosis and porphyria.



    Dr. Parker received his MD from The ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He received training in medicine and hematology from the North Carolina Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill and Duke ÈËÆÞÖгöÊÓƵ, respectively. In the past, Dr. Parker served as President of the International Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria Interest Group and Editor-in-Chief of The Hematologist.

    Dr. Parker was very thorough in his review of my test results. I appreciate him wanting to wait and review my MRI with the radiologist when Dr. Parker noted contradictory or inconsistent interpretations. I also appreciate his description of what he was doing, keeping me informed.
